A review of the job position
Automotive and Industrial Battery Technical Engineer is responsible for the development, quality control, and assurance of the technical adaptation of lead-acid batteries and industrial batteries manufactured under the Suzuki brand. This role requires expertise in battery technology, standards, and cooperation with manufacturing partners.

Tasks

• Monitoring the technical specifications and development of lead and industrial batteries products, ensuring that Adaptation to international standards such as IEC 60095.
• Battery testing in terms of durability, performance and life cycle analysis, coordination with laboratories for tests (such as capacity, safety). Control Quality, audits, and battery performance data analysis to fix problems and identify defects.
• Develop and update technical documentation, including experimental protocols, quality assurance processes and user instructions, ensuring compliance with Suzuki standards.
• Ensure compulsory and voluntary national/international standards, reports and monitoring samples to laboratories for testing.
• Comparative studies to compare products with competitors and identify opportunities To improve performance, cost and design.


Skills

• Bachelor/Masters in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Deep Technical Knowledge in Design and Production of Automotive and Industrial Batteries.
• Getting to the international battery standards such as IEC 60095, ISO 9001, UL, EN, JS.
• Experience in electrochemical tests, durability, Safety and Battery Function Analysis.
• Skills in Data Analysis, Simulation and Modeling Battery Performance.
• Experience with engineering software such as Matlab, Comsol, Solidworks, AutoCAD.
• Mastery of Quality Control Process And audit production lines.
• Ability to solve technical problems and perform failure analysis (Root Cause Analysis - RCA).
• Knowledge of Development Project Management Product.
• Introduction to battery production, chemical processes and new energy storage technologies.
• Communication skills and ability to work with suppliers.
• English language mastery to study technical documentation.
