BayCare HomeCare is currently in search of our newest Home Health Aide who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community. We are looking for an individual seeking a career opportunity with one of the largest employers within the Tampa Bay area.

The Home Health Aide provides hands-on care in the home for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards and protocols. Responsibilities include:

Working under the guidance and supervision of the staff nurse in providing personal care to the patientsFollowing the patients' plan of care for completion of tasks assigned to a home health aide by the registered nurse or other appropriate skilled professional
Maintaining an open communication process with the patient, representative (if any), caregivers, and family
Demonstrating competency with assigned tasks; complies with infection prevention and control policies and procedures; reports changes in the patient condition; and honors patient rights

Required Certifications and Licensures:

Driver's License State of Florida (Florida driver's license is required within 30 days of hire)CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or HHA certification from accredited 75-hour programBLS (Basic Life Support)

Education:

Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience:

Preferred 1 year Home Care
