Home Health Aides (HHA)

The Bishop Center is actively seeking Home Health Aides (HHA) for full-time and part-time positions for our facility in Bishop, NY.

DUTIES:

Works under the guidance and direction of the clinical teamFollow the plan of careProvides home health aide assistance to patients in their homeProvide simple health care, personal hygiene, housekeeping and related supportive services designed to allow patients the opportunity of remaining at homeReporting any health issues to the supervising nurse.Follow all clinical and office policiesMaintain confidentiality of all patient and agency data

REQUIREMENTS:

Valid New York State HHA Certification.Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skillsCompassionate CareProvide personal hygiene assistance for patientsWillingness to enforce health and safety standardsTake pride in providing high quality careAbility to read, write, and carry out directionsAbility to lift a minimum of 25 pounds and care for the physical demands of caring for a patient
