Home & Hygiene Brand Manager
Within Unilever, Home care Europe is a ca. 2 billion Turnover category operating in a growing and very competitive market, with presence in 35 countries with different brands and brand positions. The Home care category is divided in 4 segments (= ‘Small C’s’): Fabric Cleaning, Fabric Enhancers, Home & Hygiene and Dishwash, and is driven by a dynamic, ambitious, and engaged team, operating in a challenging but exciting environment that offers a great opportunity to develop as marketer and business talent. This is a field where marketers can develop and sharpen their skills by confronting with some of the largest players in FMCG such as P&G, Henkel, and Reckitt Benckiser. In this competitive landscape, deep consumer insight, fast reaction and time to market are of crucial importance. Key Principles: BU Home & Hygiene Marketing & Operations Brand Manager will support the BU H&H Marketing & Operations Lead wrt Home & Hygiene plan for 6 BG (business group) Led Markets in Europe (UK, France, Poland, Italy, Netherlands and Germany). + 6 BG led markets will work directly with BG teams to Align on One plan and on Big Bets (BBM) innovations end to end (including codes & artworks). + Local innovations/renovations (ex. PPA on existing ranges) will be run directly by BG led markets & local marketing teams. + The BU resources will work on cross markets renovations and ensuring phasing of market activities is adapted to supply chain and financial capacity of the BU. + As we run integrated supply chain across Europe (6 BG led markets and One U markets), BU resources will be in charge of Europe portfolio management. WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE Cross markets core renovations : + Supporting the BU Marketing & Operations Leads on the cross-markets renovations plan, fitting with the brand and category growth agenda and regulatory needs. Advise and co-decide on communication assets plans. + Responsible for artwork management for cross 6 BG led markets core renovations (market specific to be led by country) and support the BU Marketing & Operations Lead to ensure one Europe portfolio approach and supply capacity working closely with the VET Team. Coordinate marketing activity planning & phasing : + Support the BU Marketing & Operations Lead on overseeing the BU Home Care Europe portfolio & planning phasing (for 6 BG led markets & 1 U via VET support) and innovation management in strong collaboration with supply chain. EU Portfolio management: + Manages the SKU portfolio for BG led sourcing units to drive efficiencies across BG led markets and one UL markets. + Support the BU Marketing & Operations Lead for packaging alignment (3D) across Europe portfolio. Driving BiH / 5S programs initiatives: + Supports BU scoped marketing relevant savings programs for the different brands in tight collaboration with R&D, Procurement and Supply Chain teams. WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE + Marketing proficiency with 3Y+ of experience. Experience in above market/project management roles / Home Care will be a plus. + Great project management skills with strong bias for actions and accountability. + Ability to work autonomously and with diverse and large groups of people across regions and functions face to face and virtually. + Capacity to influence and engage with senior stakeholders along the way. + Skill to balance strategic thinking (i.e.: the big picture) and short-term execution. + Strong business acumen as well as strong logic.
