At CMCS (Cardinal McCloskey Community Services), our mission is to protect, empower and promote independence for at-risk Children & Families and those with developmental disabilities through quality community-based services.
Responsibilities:
As Homefinder, you will work in the Homefinding Department of the Foster Care Program and reports to the Director of Permanency. The Homefinder will work in collaboration with Outreach Recruiters, foster parent applicants, existing certified foster parents, and case planning to complete the initial certification and annual recertification tasks in accordance with all OCFS and ACS regulations. The Homefinder will facilitate all required onboarding foster parent training as well as maintain all paper and electronic records.
Requirements:
+ Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field; Master's Degree Preferred
+ Bilingual, English/Spanish required
Additional Requirements:
+ Knowledge of the Foster Care/Adoption and the Child Welfare System
+ Experience in writing Home Studies (psychosocial assessment) preferred
+ Experience in conducting and writing annual foster parent Re-certifications preferred
