Required qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field.5+ years of professional experience in automotive homologation or regulatory compliance within the EU.Strong knowledge of EU Whole Vehicle Type Approval (WVTA), UNECE regulations, and national homologation frameworks.Experience working with third-party technical services and regulatory authorities.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects across global teams.Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional European languages are an asset.Preferred Qualifications
Experience with electric vehicle (EV) or hybrid powertrain homologation.Familiarity with upcoming EU regulatory trends, including GSR II, Euro 7, ADAS, and Cybersecurity.Background in North American regulatory systems (e.g., FMVSS, EPA, CARB) is a plus.Certification in project management (PMP, PRINCE2) is advantageous.Hybrid - This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the Zurich office three times per week, at minimum.
