A leading global client, an Italian multinational oilfield services giant and one of the largest in the industry, presents an exceptional opportunity for a Hook Up Engineer aboard their GMS Enterprise Vessel, navigating the world's oceans, currently in Qatar.
Job Summary:
Join a team of remarkable individuals engaged in innovative projects. You will coordinate and oversee all engineering activities related to Hook-up, lending your expertise during the bidding phase, project preparation stages (both in the office and at the yard), and the offshore execution phase for all Hook-up engineering tasks. Your role will involve collaborating with Fabrication (whether at internal or external yards) and T&I to define the scope of work and manage any carryover tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
This is your chance to engage in a variety of tasks, including but not limited to: Executing technical responsibilities related to drawings, MTOs, and job card preparation, as well as conducting constructability reviews and study activities. Suggesting engineering solutions that optimize configurations for transportation and installation using the available marine spread, reducing offshore Hook-ups, and enhancing construction sequences and methodologies on-site. Contributing Hook-up insights to engineering reviews (including Constructability, 3D modeling, HAZID, etc.). Participating in the execution of Hook-up engineering, which includes identifying multidisciplinary Hook-up activities, preparing Hook-up procedures, and compiling essential project documentation within the disciplines' Work Packages.
Experience and Qualifications: Minimum 5+ years of Offshore experience as a Commissioning Engineer / HUC, Construction Engineering. Master’s degree in Engineering. Valid Offshore Certificates
