**John Deere Horicon Works: Welder** As a **Production Welder** with John Deere Horicon Works in Horicon, WI, you will: Perform weld operations in a production environment focused on safety, quality, and teamwork. Job details are dependent on duties assigned but in general consist of the following: + Weld parts and sub-assemblies to specification using various welding processes. + Adjust voltage, heat, pressure, and speed to maintain quality. + Read and comprehend work instructions and follow established procedures. + Utilize manufacturing tools to record data and keep records for quality and maintenance. + Check results for conformance to specifications and make necessary corrections. + Operate power driven equipment such as forklifts and industrial trucks to move material, parts, and equipment. + Use various types of tools and equipment to perform work - including but not limited to CNC / robotic welding equipment, safety equipment, manual arc welders, grinders, hoists, fixtures, and applicable hand and power tools. + Lubricate, check, and clean work equipment and tooling. + Assist and support other team members. + Clean work area and perform other miscellaneous duties inherent to the job. **Minimum Qualifications:** + Must be at least 18 years of age. + Must have at least one of the following: + High School Diploma or G.E.D. + National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) + At least 3 years of manufacturing work experience + Prior welding experience. + Ability to perform manual tasks related to described job duties for duration of work shift; including but not limited to frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and performing of repetitive actions. + Ability and willingness to work any shift and potential overtime (including weekends). **Why Work at John Deere?
