Hospice and Palliative Medicine, Physician

About this role:
As a Hospice and Palliative Medicine Physician, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you will be embedded in our oncology, my generation and heart-failure outpatient clinics. You examine patients, prescribe treatments and medication, provide end of life care, and collaborate with other medical members of the care team treatment.
This position includes up to $30,000 sign-on bonus, and relocation allowance not to exceed $20,000.00. You will practice at various practice locations. Rotation schedule may be comprised of 3 days in oncology, 2 days at my generation locations and possibly heart failure patients.Number of patients per day 5 minimumYour hours will be Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm and no call requirementYou will provide supervision and guidance to the advanced practitioner, who will be providing direct patient careTeam support will include a social worker, additional nursing staff, and intake scheduler.How we'll support you:

What you’ll bring:
MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicineResidency training in Family or Internal MedicineMust be fellowship trained in Palliative Medicine or Oncology Palliative CareBoard certification or eligibility in Hospice and Palliative MedicineActive, unobstructed Nevada medical license, or the ability to obtain oneAbility to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing processWe are not able to accept candidates requiring Visa sponsorship currentlyNew graduates will be consideredAbout us:
