Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the KS & OK region with proven, verifiable & stable hospice leadership experience.  This role requires a visionary leader with a proven track record of operational excellence and the ability to drive growth in a complex regional environment. The COO will report directly to the CEO and be a critical member of the executive team, responsible for executing the company's strategic vision and operational strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company’s overall objectives and drive growth in the KS/OK region. Oversee daily operations and ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of all business processes. Collaborate with senior management to devise strategies to manage resources effectively and achieve organizational goals. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including partners, suppliers, and government entities. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team to ensure operational excellence and achievement of business objectives. Identify and mitigate risks to the region’s operations and implement corrective actions as needed. Monitor industry trends and advise on strategic initiatives to maintain competitive advantage.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in hospice senior operational leadership roles, preferably within the KS/OK region. Must Live in KS or OK or be willing to relocate. Strong understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, Marketing, etc. Proven ability to drive operational excellence and lead successful change initiatives. Exceptional leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence across all levels of the organization. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
