Responsibilities

The Hospice Manager of Nursing is a Registered Nurse who assumes 24 hour administrative responsibility for the management of all nursing hospice service functions. In collaboration with executive leadership, responsible for the overall nursing administration, development, and implementation of home health services. Develops and implements departmental plans, including performance improvement activities and compliance with current regulations. Supervises and evaluates all personnel assigned to the department and effectively utilizes hospice nursing personnel. Communicates with staff, physicians, and administration both written and verbally.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

 

1.     Bachelor’s degree in healthcare related field required.
2.     Master’s degree preferred.
3.     Current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse.

4.     Minimum of three (3) years professional nursing experience required. 
5.     Minimum of two (2) years Home Health Manager experience required.
6.     Current driver’s license, car insurance, car registration, and reliable automobile.
