Soin Medical Center has been serving residents of Greene, Western Clark, Eastern Montgomery, and Miami counties since 2012.Conveniently located off I-675 in Beavercreek. Provides a variety of health care services and is home to 4 accredited Centers of Excellence including hernia and robotic surgery. In 2020, Soin received an “A” from the Leapfrog Group, a national patient safety watchdog, ranking among the safest hospitals in the United States.Received 4 Star Baby-Friendly Hospital status by the Ohio Hospital Association.Soin received several awards from Healthgrades:Patient Safety Excellence Award (2017-2019)Outstanding Patient Experience Award (2017-2019) Responsibilities & RequirementsThe General X-Ray Machine Operator performs a limited scope of diagnostic X-Ray procedures to include Chest/Abdomen, Extremity, Skull-Sinuses, Spine only. Duties, both professional and non-clinical, performed consistent with optimal image quality. Performs other duties as assigned.
*Performs a variety of diagnostic X-Ray procedures with optimal image quality
*Provides patient care, ensures an environment of patient safety, promotes evidence-based practice and
quality initiatives, and exhibits professionalism within established Radiology and Imaging National
standards. 100%
*Responsible for entering on-line charges in the RIS system and accountable for charges as specified by
the Network policy, ensuring a high level of accuracy
*Exhibits each of the Kettering Health Standards of behavior holding self and others accountable and role
modeling excellence for all to see.
*Meets population specific and all other competencies according to department requirements.
*Promotes a culture of safety by adhering to policy, procedures and plans that are in place to prevent
workplace injury, violence, or adverse outcome to associates and patients.
Relationship based care – creates a caring and healing environment that keeps the patient and family at
the center of care throughout their experience.
*Participates in On-Call Coverage if applicable If applicable
Preferred Qualifications
Must have GXMO Certification and Radiation license by State of Ohio.
Perferably a Student in Radiology Program currently
Hospital GXMO- Main Cmapus
Will perform inpatient, outpatient and ER X-Rays on Fixed Equipment.
