This is a unique opportunity to join the hospital sales team for a leading division at a global life sciences company that advances patient health and powers clear, confident decisions through it's diagnostic offerings.
The Hospital Development Executive is responsible for driving high value, hospital based business by prospecting for new opportunities in Labcorp's Mid America Division. This position will be responsible for prospecting for new hospital business, maintaining existing client relationships, working with specialty divisions to grow a profitable portfolio.
The position will be cover Arizona, New Mexico and Nevada. The Ideal candidate will be located in Phoenix, AZ or Las Vegas, NV.
Key Areas Of Focus:
Grow new hospital Laboratory reference business, including routine and specialty testingMaintain relationships with existing client base and develop relationships with C-Suite decision makersEducate and implement analytical platforms and workflow efficiencies to both current and potential clientsCollaborate with other sales team members to expand services beyond the clinical reference testingKey Competencies:
Strong relationship building ability and experienceAbility to prepare and present professional presentations (In-Person & Virtually)Educate, instruct, and upsell all assigned and newly generated accounts in an assigned territoryAct as a liaison between the client and the LabCorp operations team in relation to client needsProvide ongoing service and timely resolution to customer baseEnsure customer retention by providing superior customer serviceRecommend solutions that are client focusedCollaborate with entire sales team to grow book of businessMeet and exceed monthly revenue goalsQualifications and Requirements:
BS/BA degree from a four-year accredited university or college preferredA minimum of 4 years experience in hospital sales or account management requiredExperience in the healthcare industry is a plusProven success managing a book of businessSuperior customer service skills with the ability to build trust-based relationshipsEffective communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to deliver results in a fast paced, competitive marketExcellent time management and organizational skillsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite of productsAbility to travel 50% of the time within assigned territoryPreferred Qualifications:
Experience prospecting for new hospital business, maintaining existing client relationships, working with specialty divisions.Prior experience working on strategic accounts at a high levelBenefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
