Hospital Operations Supervisor - Towson (Evening/Night)

As a Nursing Shift Coordinator you will:

Serve as a resource to nursing staff members by providing on-site senior level clinical and administrative support resource for after-hours urgencies throughout the Hospital. Have the opportunity to lead hospital-wide allocation and coordination of nursing resources in accordance with established standards of practice. Utilize clinical expertise in the delivery of direct patient care as needed, consultative activities, staff development, and treatment planning. Assess and coordinate the resolution of clinical crises that occur during assigned shift Monitor the quality of nursing care services and work with the senior nursing leadership team to ensure any concerns are addressed appropriately Participate as a member of Nursing Department management in the development of Nursing policies, procedures, standards of practice, and in the planning and evaluation of Nursing operations.

Requirements: 

Graduation from an accredited nursing program and current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Maryland at time of appointment and continuously throughout tenure in position. BSN is preferred. At least 3 years of experience in psychiatric nursing, patient care and regulatory requirements, clinical and managerial skills, and orientation to the specialized needs of varying patient populations. Must possess strong interpersonal and leadership skills. All new clinical staff will begin their extended clinical orientation/training immediately following your first day of employment.
