The Opportunity:
Saint Luke’s Crittenton Children’s Center in South Kansas City, MO is seeking a Hospital Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to assist the Intake Director in the planning, coordination, and evaluation of all the daily activities of the Intake Department. Your experience and expertise will allow you to successfully triage emergency and non-emergency calls, verify or coordinate the certification of all funding eligibility and benefits, along with conducting intake assessments. The Work:
Conducts clinical interviews and recommends levels of care consistent with the treatment needs to patients and their familiesRecommends and implements general therapeutic interventions both for individual clients and for overall program developmentFunctions as the therapist for patients and families with the psychiatrist as clinical team leaderProvides for additional work functions in the area of Utilization ManagementWe are seeking Hospital Therapists with experience working with children. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the system and processes of mental health care. This position will require the skills necessary to develop communication systems that triage workloads on a daily basis. We are looking for someone with great communication and written skills with a warm, caring attitude. To be successful in this role, you must be detail oriented, efficient, adaptable, and capable of multitasking. This position requires you to work in a team atmosphere as well as autonomously.

Must have a master's degree and either provisional or full applicable MO license (LMSW, LPC, PLPC, LCSW).
