The appointee shall provide services as assigned by the supervisor in furtherance of the university’s missions and goals of teaching, research, patient care, outreach and public service.

 

This position reports to (supervisor):  Brandon Hayes-Lattin, MD, Medical Director, Division of Hematology & Medical Oncology

 

The duties of this position include:

Providing coverage for inpatient Hematological Malignancy patients from 7am – 7pm Mon-Fri and 7am-7pm Sat, Sun, HolidaysResponsibility for admitting patients and cross-covering acute medical issues on inpatientsWill be backed up by Hematology Malignancy Attending’s for any questions or concernsProviding inpatient care for Hem Onc patients, including hematologic malignancies, solid tumors and cell therapy/BMT. Primary role would be days 7am-7pm, but duties could include night coverage as well.Providing urgent care to Hem Onc outpatients in infusion centers or clinics, with back up of patient’s primary Hem Onc attending (such as when primary is serving as inpatient attending). Required Qualifications MD, MD/PhDLicensed to practice medicine in OregonBoard certified in Internal Medicine Additional Details
