Hospitalist Assistant

Schedule:

Various start/end times: 5:15am-2:00pm, 5:15am-3:45pm, 2:00pm-11:30pm, hybrid position, every other weekend, rotating holidays

Job Summary: The position involves coordinating communication and providing administrative support for the hospitalist program, ensuring patient safety and implementing safety practices. The role also emphasizes Family Centered Care principles when interacting with patients, families, and coworkers.

Education:

High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience:

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Health Unit Coordinator, medical assistant, or in customer service.

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate Degree in medical secretary or a related field. 1 year of experience with office procedures and equipment.

Additional Qualifications:
