Hospitalist Physician - Pediatric

ProMedica - one of the largest, most integrated health-care delivery system in northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan is seeking a Full Time, Pediatric Hospitalist to work at ProMedica Ebeid Children's Hospital in Toledo, OH. Ideal candidates should be focused and engaged in a patient-centered care model and interested in teaching medical students and residents. Must be BC/BE. Pediatric Hospital Medicine certified or eligible is encouraged but not required.
Work with a dedicated and cohesive team of professionals focused on providing quality patient care and high work ethics

Group consists currently of 9 pediatric hospitalists as we are looking to expand
12 hour shifts-majority are day shifts as we currently have two full time nocturnists
Work closely with ER and outside facilities to triage patients to the appropriate services
Level 1 nursery-no deliveries, no circumcisions
NICU on campus with 24/7 coverage
Provide 24/7 coverage for all pediatric patients admitted
PICU on campus with 24/7 coverage
Jointly collaboration with the University of Toledo Medical School and the University of Toledo Pediatric residency program-many opportunities for teaching
Opportunity to participate in various hospital committees and work closely with ancillary staff for quality improvement initiatives

Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
Valid medical license to practice in [list state(s)]
Board certification in [same or related field(s), if necessary]
New graduates and experienced providers are both encouraged to apply
Current American Heart Association (AHA) CPR certification.
