The Hospitality Assistant position exists to provide stewardship for all aspects of serving couples through food service and housekeeping. This position is a temporary assignment designed to meet current ministry needs. The duration of the assignment may vary and could be short-term or long-term, depending on evolving business requirements. This position offers a $500 hiring bonus. The bonus will be paid to the hired candidate half after 30 days ($250) and half upon the successful completion of 6 months of work ($250). Employees must be active and in good standing at the time of bonus payout to be eligible for hiring bonuses. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Food Service: + Prepares meals from predetermined menus for intensives, retreats, and special events + Serves, interacts, and is sensitive to the needs of the couples and guests + Maintains cleanliness of kitchen and dining area, daily + Observes and follows all Health Department Codes + Attends and maintains Chemical Training Housekeeping: + Maintains the cleanliness of Guest Cabins; general cleaning of bedroom, bathroom, sitting area, and outside sitting area + Maintains the cleanliness of all guest and staff spaces throughout the property, including main hospitality center, administrative offices, counseling rooms, bathrooms, and chapel.
