Scope:
Job requires meals being prepared for guests early morning, late evening and weekend hours (during peak season). All work is performed at Chesapeake Farms, Chestertown, MD. Individual must live within 30-minute drive time of Chesapeake Farms.
Responsibilities
Prep food and cook scheduled meals for onsite guests (up to occasionally 200 guests) of the Chesapeake Farms Conference Center and hunting programMust make decisions regarding meal planning, appropriate amount of food to prepare and timely serviceThoroughly clean commercial quality kitchen after scheduled shift/meal.Assist with inventory and orderingMust be willing to housekeep guest rooms, conference rooms, lounges, restrooms and all other areas of guest and office facilities, as neededPerform work safely as required by Corteva.Requirements:
A minimum of high school diploma/GED requiredFive years of experience with cooking hot and cold food itemsHave the ability to lift up to 50lbs. with or without reasonable accommodationWilling and able to work most weekends (during peak season)Demonstrate ability to read and comprehend recipe instructionsDemonstrate ability to follow and explain standard operating proceduresMaintain a safe, clean and sanitary work areaServSafe Food Handler certificationBenefits – How We’ll Support You:
