**What would I be doing?**
The Star Club Host is responsible for greeting guests in accordance with the Star Club sequence of service standards. Responsible for maintaining the wait list, and working with the other hosts and supervisors to manage flow of the room.
**Responsibilities**

+ Introduce oneself while greeting guests with a smile and friendly disposition.
+ Provide upscale, personal VIP service to qualified Star Club guests.
+ Answer questions about My Choice program, coupon and direct mail offers, parking facilities, promotions, special events, gaming tournaments and casino property functions.
+ Effectively communicate with Casino Hosts, Coordinators and Player Development Manager regarding players.
+ Maintain uniform and appearance standards.
+ Interact in a professional manner with both internal and external guests.
+ Walk guests to their table while engaging in conversation.
+ Responsible for monitoring guest alcohol consumption.
+ Complete side work and any additional tasks assigned.
+ Bus and clean tables after guests leave.
+ Reset tables in proper manner.
+ Inspect silverware for cleanliness.
+ Inspect and clean floor area of assigned station keeping it free of debris and spills.
+ Job tasks must be finished in a timely manner according to department standards.
+ Inform immediate supervisor of situations with guests or team members that cannot be handled directly.
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively and communicate effectively with guests and team members of all levels.
+ Highly organized and detail oriented
+ Problem solver that takes direction well.
+ Ability to demonstrate a high level of energy and enthusiasm.

+ Possess outstanding guest service skills.
+ Team player with a positive demeanor.
+ Available to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
+ Excellent communication skills.
These skills and experience are typically acquired through a previous guest service related position.
**ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: (Licenses, Certifications, Testing, etc.):**
Possession of, and ability to obtain and maintain a valid drivers and gaming license within assigned state of employment and other jurisdictions
Must successfully pass background check
Must successfully pass an alcohol and drug screening
Must be 18 years of age
