**Overview** The host presents a positive first impression of the Steakhouse excellent guest service and Atlantis standards by greeting guests pleasantly and with a smile upon arrival, showing guests to their table, as well as bidding them farewell as they leave. **The Atlantis Steakhouse listed as one of the Best overall Steakhouse in the Reno Tahoe area and recipient of the AAA Four Diamond award has opened a Fine Dining Hostess position** **Shift: Swing (Part Time)** **Responsibilities** + Responsible for initial guest interaction at the door and welcoming all visitors to the restaurant and setting the tone for their experience + Monitor door/podium at all times to ensure prompt seating of guests. + Answer phones and take reservations. + Pleasant, conscientious and professional with excellent hospitality instincts & drive to provide customer service + Able to operate effectively as part of a team, communicate clearly, ensure smooth service operations and quality service + Take payments from Guests and ensure proper cash handling techniques + Ability to communicate with Guests and also with restaurant management staff. + Must conduct oneself in a manner that reflects a positive professional image. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk, and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
