Hostess - Honeybelle

The Host - Honeybelle at PGA National Resort responsibilities: 

Provide a positive experience to the guests of the restaurant upon their arrival and departure. Seat guests and manage the seating chart Monitor restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow Ensure knowledge of menu Service stocking needs, tabletop maintenance and follow up for accuracy Assist others with side work including, but not limited to, cleaning, folding silverware, etc. Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner Perform opening and closing duties, as needed Assist with the reservation book and any other administrative duties Perform all other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to work a flexible shift, weekends, holidays Must have Florida Food Handlers and Alcohol compliance certifications Excellent telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills required.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Ability to effectively communicate and work well with fellow employees Ability to effectively deal with customer complaints and concerns in a friendly and positive manner. Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player Use judgment and reasoning to cope with emergencies, such as sudden illness, accident, or interrupted service. Standing, bending, walking, lift/push 25-50lbs
