13044BRJob Description:Big River Steel seeks Hot Mill Level II Engineer in Osceola, AR.
Job Duties:
+ Perform Failure and problem Analysis for Automation Control Systems and technological and mathematical models.
+ Responsible for server computers, setup modeling, and reference distribution system, data management systems, communication systems, and other control equipment
+ Troubleshoot TCP-IP, OPC, and Telcom communication problems to ensure receiving/sending the needed input/output for production processes
+ Maintain source code and source code changes using GIT repository to keep an overview and a history of changes
+ Develop all the necessary modifications in the automation system to minimize human error
+ Provide continuous improvement of operation and function of Automation Control Systems and the assigned production Processes
+ Work directly with all maintenance and operations personnel to help develop a team focused on safety and reliability
+ Creating, managing, backup, and restoring virtual machines using Hyper-V or similar, Veeam Backup a
+ Support plant operations and work with Quality/IT departments to help attain production goals.
Job Requirements:
+ This position requires a Master's Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or related automation occupation in the metals industry.
+ Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following: Caster models development, optimization, and adjustment using C++, C#, CBS-K technology, Visual Studio; Storing and archiving production data, machine configuration into Oracle Database; Sending and receiving Caster data using TelCom, TCP/IP and OPC DA technology; MS Windows server/system administrator and MS productivity tools; and Problem investigation and analysis using IBA PDA, Oracle Database and Level2 specific tools.
