What You Will Be DoingCourteously welcome all guests and provide excellent service to ensure guest satisfactionAdhere to house rules, departmental policies, and safety standardsCommunicate clearly with guests and managementRespond to or channel any guest requests/complaints to the department or proper managerHandle guest billing in a responsible and professional mannerUse problem-solving skills to professionally handle any guest issue, question, or concernCommunicate with other departments to address requests and concerns from guestsHow You Will Do ItOperate the Front Desk system to make reservationsCheck-in guests into the computer, establishes credit and give the guest accurate informationProper distribution of room keys and staff keysHandle phone lines from both in-house guests and public callsDispatch pertinent information to corresponding departmentsResponsible for changes to guest room status; i.e. room changes, early departures and stay-oversChecking guest out of the hotel by going over their charges and collecting the payment, room key and balancing/closing out room folioWhat You Will NeedMust have general computer knowledgePrevious experience with Credit Card Machine preferredMust be a friendly, outgoing “people” person with a good attitude and smilePrevious experience working with the public in a service provider industry preferredMust be able to stand up to four (4) hours at a time and reach above shoulder levelMust be comfortable answering and transferring callsKnowledgeable of hotel property and water parkPossess ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environmentPossess ability to remain calm and professional in all situationsKnowledgeable in all hotel and water park services and hours of operationMust be able to work weekends, holidays, and other shifts as necessaryWhy work with us?Pay Range: $15.75 - $16.00 per hourFlexible scheduling – work as little or as much as you wantPaid trainingDailyPay – work today, get paid tomorrowAdvancement opportunitiesFree admission to ALL Six Flags parks, including White Water BayFree tickets for friends and familyDiscounts on passes, food, and merchandiseExclusive employee eventsFun rewards, benefits, and more!
