You will perform a variety of tasks which involve the upkeep and repair of the facility. Your work will make an impact and support how our organization serves the best customer – our Military patrons and their families.
So, what does a typical day look like? What does it take to succeed?
oConducts preventative maintenance and takes periodic inventory of maintenance stock and equipment.
oPerforms general carpentry, painting plumbing tasks involved in the alteration, repair and maintenance of buildings or equipment.
oFollows all local safety regulations. Informs supervisor of hazardous conditions.
oOperates motor vehicle in the performance of the duties.
The Qualifiers:
oMust possess three year of working knowledge and skills necessary to perform job duties.
oIs required to stand, stoop, bend, kneel, climb and work in tiring or uncomfortable positions.
oFrequently lift andcarry materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
oWill be required to work both indoors and outdoors.
oMust possess a valid state driver’s license and pass a pre-employment criminal motor vehicle background check.
HazMat training required within 90 days of hire per Department of Transportation regulations
