Position Statement

\n

The Hotel Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring a high standard of service and guest satisfaction. This role involves managing staff, coordinating with various departments, and implementing policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.

What will I be doing?

\n

As the Hotel Operations Manager, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

\n\nGuest Services: Ensure exceptional guest service and satisfaction by addressing guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.\nStaff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise hotel staff, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance teams. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development.\nOperational Oversight: Oversee daily operations, including front desk activities, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage services. Ensure all areas are functioning smoothly and efficiently.\nBudget Management: Develop and manage the hotel budget, monitor expenses, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising service quality.\nQuality Control: Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and service throughout the hotel. Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with hotel policies and industry regulations.\nInventory Management: Oversee inventory control, including ordering supplies, managing stock levels, and ensuring proper storage and handling of materials.\nVendor Relations: Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.\nMarketing and Sales: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional strategies to attract and retain guests. Monitor occupancy rates and adjust pricing strategies as needed.\nReporting: Prepare and present regular reports on hotel performance, including occupancy rates, revenue, and guest feedback, to senior management.\n

\n\nBachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.\nMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in hotel management or a similar role.\nStrong leadership and interpersonal skills.\nExcellent organizational and multitasking abilities.\nProficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.\nAbility to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.\nStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\n\n
