THE JOB:

It is the primary responsibility of the Houseperson at The Cosmopolitan to assist the Guestroom Attendants.

THE STARTING RATE: $25.1526

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Oversee and maintain efficient operations within the assigned area, ensuring seamless workflow and service delivery.

Supervise, train, guide, and support all employees within the department to uphold performance and service standards.

Assign tasks equitably among team members to optimize productivity and efficiency.

Lead daily briefings and scheduling meetings with Guest Room Attendants and House Persons to communicate expectations and updates.

Ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of guest rooms, hallways, lockers, and lobbies, verifying that all work meets established standards.

Conduct daily written guest room inspections to ensure compliance with departmental quality and cleanliness standards.

Perform regular visual inspections of guest rooms and designated public areas to maintain a high level of presentation.

Monitor the productivity of Guest Room Attendants and House Persons, addressing any performance concerns with the Executive Assistant Housekeeper.

Provide coaching and corrective action to employees as needed, while offering ongoing feedback to enhance job performance and guest service.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.

Bilingual, English as the primary or secondary language.

Experience in a related field.

Experience in a similar resort setting.
