Must be able to read and write English, as well as speak and understand English. License/Certification: RN currently licensed with the Oregon State of Board of Nursing. BLS through American Heart Association, ACLS, PALS and NRP required with six months of hire. Trauma Certification required with one year. Education and/or Experience: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; 5 years in an acute care setting; 2 years of supervisory experience required - Critical Care or Emergency Department preferred. Physical Demands and Work Environment Conditions / ADA Compliance Ability to lift and transfer patients is required, usually with the assistance of co-workers. Normal or corrected vision is required. Normal or corrected hearing is necessary to distinguish differences in monitor alarms, heartbeats, and breathing. Manual dexterity is required to operate equipment.
