**Overview** **Ochsner Rehabilitation Hospital** ***In partnership with Select Medical*** New Orleans, LA **House Supervisor / Charge Nurse (RN)** **PRN/As Needed** **Additional benefits of becoming a House Supervisor with us:** + Working with a collaborative and team-oriented leadership team + Manageable caseloads + A high success rate of patients being discharged home from our hospital + Competitive rates and shift differentials **Responsibilities** Administers, directs and supervises the clinical care being provided by the nursing staff, which includes all Registered Nurses, Nursing Assistants, Respiratory Therapists, and Unit Secretaries. Serves as a resource and consultant for the clinical nursing care being rendered for the hospital. Provides and oversees nursing care, safety, and quality while maintaining hospital and departmental philosophy and objectives. Maintains approved standards of patient care, by collaborating with appropriate persons for continuity of care under the guidance of the Chief Nursing Officer. Assists with disciplinary issues, staff mentoring and performance appraisals. Provides oversight for the hospital in collaboration with and in the absence of the CNO.
