Jones-Harrison is looking for a housekeeper to provide a clean, safe and cheerful environment for residents, staff and visitors at our senior assisted living and skilled nursing care facility in Minneapolis, MN.
The housekeeping position includes:
Casual hoursMinimum requirement of 3 shifts per month with 2 shifts falling on a weekend and 1 holiday per year.Responsibilities:
Cleans resident and common areas of community as assigned, including floor careAssists with light maintenance tasks and cleaning emergency spills as neededMaintains cleaning equipment and suppliesAssists residents with laundry as requestedEnsures timely and efficient turnover of apartmentsPerforms job duties safely, using accurate body mechanics and protective equipmentPromotes a safe environment for staff, residents and visitorsRequired Qualifications:
Ability to work independently, show attention to detail, multi-task and maintain confidentialityAble to work in varying environmental conditions, along with cleaning human/bodily fluids or wasteAble to understand and follow verbal and written communication including policies/procedures and safety sheets.Preferred Qualifications:
Work experience in cleaning or similar environment
