What You'll Be DoingThe Housekeeper under general direction cleans all areas of the hospital by performing routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, restrooms nd corridors.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Performs routing cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, restrooms nd corridors.Performs hi-low dusting, surface sanitizing, wall spotting, bathroom cleaning, trash removal, floor dry mopping, and floor sanitizing. Inspects rooms and areas after cleaning. Occasionally moves furniture and equipment. Works scheduled weekdays, weekend, holidays and commits to the System's Mission Statement.Washes and makes up beds after discharges. Clean up blood and body substances from floors and/or other environmental surfaces.Utilizes the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedureTransports trash and hazardous waste to appropriate disposal areasPerform other duties as assigned What We're Looking For High School Diploma or equivalentRelated Healthcare Housekeeping experience, preferredDetail oriented and ability to properly follow directions What We Offer
