Overview The Phelps Residence Inn now offers complimentary parking for all associates and managers!! We are looking for a thorough housekeeper with excellent cleanliness standards to attend all areas of our facilities. The goal is to enhance customer experience by keeping our facilities in clean and orderly condition. Responsibilities Understand the company’s policy on work shifts, guest’s possessions and privacy issues Provide basic housekeeping duties including changing the sheets, changing and arranging the towels, restocking toilet supplies, vacuuming, dusting and rearranging the room after guests check out Report and return any guest properties found in the rooms while rendering service Report cases of property damage in commercial spaces to supervisor Work with a team of housekeepers on each shift Clean, disinfect and store all equipment at the end of the shift Maintain a positive relationship with employees and guests Monitor and report on the inventory of cleaning supplies Respond to calls for housekeeping problems, such as spills and broken glass Collect and remove trash and debris Report, turn in and log all lost and found items Clean upholstered furniture Perform detailed deep cleans when required daily, weekly and/or monthly Expected to clean 10 rooms daily with at least 3 refreshes. Amount subject to change on a daily basis. Ability to move to self-inspect based on skills and time management. Qualifications Skills Proven working experience in relevant field Weekend availability mandatory Ability to work independently and remain motivated Helpful with customer service orientation Prioritization and time management skills Professionalism along with speed and attention to detail Knowledge of English language High school degree
