The Housekeeping team members will execute all housekeeping operations across the entire campus with a focus on high level of cleanliness and sanitation. They will be responsible to maintain healthy, clean and sanitized housing and restroom facilities for campers, staff, and guests. 

  

Housekeepers are a key part to the overall operations of the guest experience. This role requires flexibility to evolve and adapt with the needs of the business and adhere to and support all work protocols and guidelines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

Service Excellence:

Ensure housekeeping services are executed to the highest standards of quality, cleanliness, and guest experience. 

Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures.  

Complete safety training and certifications.   

Welcome and acknowledge all guests; anticipate and address guests' service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation. 

 Report and return any guest properties found in the rooms while rendering service. 

Identify and report preventative, or other, maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms.      

Properly store chemicals, solvents, and flammable materials.   

Execute routine and intermittent cleaning and sanitation for all restrooms and housing facilities.   

Provide housekeeping duties including changing sheets, changing, and arranging towels, restocking toilet supplies, vacuuming, dusting, and rearranging guest lodging areas.   

Clean, disinfect and store all equipment at the end of the shift.   

Assist in maintaining an organized and safe and clean environment for guests and staff.   

Assist in maintaining Woodward safety logs, operational sheets, schedules, and incident logs.   

Perform weekly inventories and update master inventory for ordering purposes.   

Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (e.g., to identify defects)

Staff should dress neatly, modestly, in a professional manner, appropriate for the daily duties and in compliance for health and safety standards. 

Preferred Experience/Special Skills:

High school degree or equivalent preferred. 

Experience in housekeeping, hotel, or cleaning operations preferred. 

Strong interpersonal skills. Able to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization. 

Creative and can conceptualize ideas, think "outside the box," and implement ideas.   

Proven ability to collaborate well across functions and departments to work as part of a team.  

Must be comfortable working in an outdoor and indoor all-season environment. 

Physical Capabilities: bend, twist, push, pull, stand, lift 50 lbs.    

Employment Requirements: 

California Mandated Reporter Certification 

 FBI and DOJ fingerprint screening required.  

Must successfully-pass a background screening to ensure suitability of contact with minor children and the public, in accordance with Federal, state, and local jurisdictions.
