Responsibilities Clean Patient Rooms: Perform regular cleaning and sanitization of patient rooms, including beds, furniture, and medical equipment.Maintain Bathrooms: Ensure all bathrooms are thoroughly cleaned and stocked with necessary supplies.Sanitize Common Areas: Regularly clean and disinfect common areas such as waiting rooms, hallways, and lounges.Waste Management: Properly dispose of waste and hazardous materials following hospital protocols.Restock Supplies: Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and personal protective equipment (PPE).Report Maintenance Issues: Identify and report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department.Follow Safety Protocols: Adhere to all safety and infection control guidelines to protect yourself and others.Assist with Special Cleaning Projects: Participate in deep cleaning and special projects as required.Support Team Efforts: Collaborate with other housekeeping staff and hospital personnel to ensure a high standard of cleanliness. Qualifications Physical Dexterity: Ability to perform tasks requiring physical strength, dexterity, and a range of motion, including bending, lifting, and reaching.Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning and sanitization.Communication Skills: Good communication skills to interact effectively with patients, staff, and visitors.Experience: Previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.Reliability: Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.Team Player: Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
