SCRMC LTC Housekeeper JOB SUMMARY JOB SUMMARY Job Class: 305 Housekeeper I Department: 7820 7800 Jones County Rest Home, Comfort Care Rest Home CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Demonstrates Competency in the Following Areas: o Demonstrate correct linen transfer procedures. o Responsible for time management in laundry process. o Demonstrates excellent safety awareness. o Responsible for problem solving with department. o Complies scheduled tasks in a timely manner without supervision and provides all duties as required. o Cleans assigns area thoroughly o Closely follows established policies and procedures o Uses appropriate PPE at all times o Uses appropriate chemicals and supplies o Projects a warm and caring attitude while interacting with patients, visitors and staff. o Demonstrates a willingness to help others, going above the expected standard. o Projects a positive view of Department and SCRMC. o Accepts suggestions and direction with a view toward improvement. o Focuses on assignment while avoiding outside distractions o Has the desire to improve in abilities o Reports to work consistently and is on time o Works at a good pace o Uses time wisely o Operates equipment in a safe and orderly manner B.
