Lake Ridge Care Center, 56-bed facility, is currently hiring a Housekeeper/ Maintenance Aide to join our team! In this role, you will assist the maintenance/housekeeping departments to help maintain our beautiful campus. Our ideal candidate is friendly, positive, and has an outgoing personality. We will train for this position!

This is a Part-Time, benefit eligible position working 18 to 25 hours a week with on call hours and picking up hours that are available to cover for planned absences.

Competitive wages with credit for experienceTuition Discount Opportunities/ Scholarships/ Student Loan Forgiveness (site specific, ask for details)Paid Time Off (PTO)403(b) retirement program with employer matchEmployee Discount ProgramLongevity Recognition, Paid Volunteer Time, and Mentorship ProgramsCollaborative and Inclusive Work CultureEmployee Assistance Program with free confidential counseling/coaching for self and family membersHousekeeper/ Maintenance Aide Responsibilities:Clean resident rooms, restrooms, day rooms, and other common areas, which may include dusting, vacuuming, washing, and trash removal.Perform routine maintenance repairs and projects as needed.Follow scheduled preventative maintenance program.Respond to maintenance requests by residents and staff.Follow-through on projects with little supervision.Perform manual tasks and carry out all given job related instructions.Keep detailed reports of ongoing and completed projects.Perform lawn care and landscaping duties; remove snow and ice from walkways.Perform other duties as requested.Housekeeper/ Maintenance Aide Requirements:High School Diploma or Equivalent required.Prior experience in maintenance is a plus.Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred, but not required.Able to make repairs inside and outside of building, basic carpentry, basic plumbing, replace light bulbs, filters, etc.Able to use basic maintenance tools such as hammer, pliers, screwdriver, drill, etc.Must be a self-starter and have strong organizational and problem-solving skills.Ability to work a consistent work schedule and be punctual for shifts. Able to work independently.Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families and staff.Desire to create relationships with residents and staff.
