To maintain tracking systems for day to day housekeeping operation, to include guest satisfaction surveys, ordering supplies, managing inventories, payroll and other office related duties.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Maintain all tracking systems in the department, primarily Market Metrix and Following up with customer serviceTrack and maintain inventories for housekeeping department and order supplies as needed based on par levelsPrepare biweekly payroll, memos, vacation requests, and schedule for completion by managerEnsure payment of gratuities and incentive is completed correctlyEnter day off requests on scheduleAnswer housekeeping phonesExpedite guest requests, departmental requests, front office requests, engineering requests to appropriate areas. Update suite status on computerType, file and perform other clerical duties as assignedSupportive Functions and Responsibilities
Regular attendance in conformance with the standards is essential to the successful performance of this positionLoews team members with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employmentDue to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, Loews’ team members may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotelUpon employment, all employees are required to fully comply with Loews rules and regulations for the safe and efficient operation of hotel facilitiesLoews’ team members who violate Hotel rules and regulations will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employmentAssist suite attendants and Houseperson in securing all supplies and tools necessary for the completion of their jobs as need ariseReport all suspicious persons or actions, hazardous conditions, etc. to Security DepartmentProvide instruction and/or guidance for guests and Loews team members safety in fire or other emergency situationThis list of essential functions is not exhaustive and might be supplemented as necessaryQualifications
Able to work as part of a dynamic quality-driven teamAble to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidaysMust be customer-service orientated and have excellent hospitality skillsAbility to sit for extended periods of timeAbility to operate a computerAbility to communicate effectively with guests and other departments Ability to provide clear direction, instruction and guidance to housekeeping team membersAbility to organize, prioritize work and meet deadlinesPrevious Housekeeping experience preferred
