Overview M Health Fairview is looking for an Housekeeping Aide at our Southdale location, in Edina, MN. This is a Floor Care position and is represented under the union SEIU. Responsibilities Job Description Cleaning: Maintain cleanliness in offices, hallways, common areas, and other spaces. Furniture Handling: Move furniture before and after cleaning tasks. Floor Care: Clean, dust, mop, strip, and wax floors. Chemical Handling: Measure and operate chemical dispensing units, ensuring proper labeling and safety. Equipment Maintenance: Clean, maintain, and store equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE) proficiently. Inventory Management: Keep track of floor areas and schedule cleaning and maintenance duties. Reporting: Report maintenance issues to the supervisor. Hazardous Waste Assistance: Assist with hazardous waste collection as requested. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Must be at least 16 years of age. Preferred Qualifications & Other Required Skills: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required. Ability to lift and carry moderate to heavy loads. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
