Summary

Responsible for cleaning the facility to meet all standards of cleanliness and to ensure a clean, safe, healthy environment for all residents, visitors and staff.     Cleans assigned areas using established institutional cleaning techniques for a healthcare facility.  Washes floors, walls, furnishings, patient rooms, offices, corridors, public areas using dust mops, wet mops, vacuums and similar cleaning aids.  Maintains restrooms in clean, sanitary condition.  Replenishes supplies such as towels, toilet tissue and soap.  Collects trash throughout the facility and maintains outside holding area in a clean, sanitary condition.  Shampoos upholstered furniture and carpets as needed.  Removes and re-hangs drapes/cubicle curtains as needed.
