About the Role
\nWe are looking for a full-time Housekeeping Coordinator to become part of our Housekeeping team at Hilton Auckland. You will support the Housekeeping Department by ensuring the upkeep and cleanliness of the entire hotel to deliver an excellent stay experience for all our guests. This is a physical role for someone who enjoys hardworking, has an eye for detail, a positive attitude and the ability to lead teams.

What will I be doing?
\nThis role involves:
\n\nBack of house coordination such as stocking, key & boards distribution, allocations\nCoordination with supervisors for room release and meeting arrivals\nAllocate work duties to Team Members\nPerform routine inspections of all check out rooms and spot checks of all occupied rooms\nReport and follow up on any maintenance defects or other issues\nInspect, routinely, service areas, storerooms and corridors\nSchedule and supervise deep cleaning and any other projects\nManage and train Room Attendants and other Team Members to ensure their performance is to the standards required\nManage, efficiently, stock control and the maintenance of equipment\nProvide excellent Guest service, including VIP and other special requirements\nEnsure the adherence to hotel brand standards at all times\nWhat are we looking for?
\n\n1+ year experience similar role within a 5-star hotel environment\nProficiency with computers - Microsoft Office Excel, ONQ\nExperience with allocations \nKnowledge of chemicals and ability to train team member on their product knowledge\nA friendly and outgoing personality with a proactive, \"can do\" approach\nWell organised and attention to detail\nPhysically fit to perform the role\nFlexible availability with working in weekends and during holidays\n\n
