The housekeeper partners with Infection Prevention and other areas in the hospital to maintain a sanitary and safe environment for patients and staff. A housekeeper will utilize the appropriate cleaning products and processes to reduce spread of disease(s).

Responsibilities:

Cleaning assigned areas including but not limited to patient rooms, Operating Room, Emergency Department, clinical areas, public areas, office areas, etc. Physical aspects include standing, twisting, squatting, bending during, pushing/pulling of cart/trash cart, mopping during their shift.

This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Hospital. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values while supporting the strategic plan, goals and direction of the Performance Improvement Process (PIP) at Blessing Hospital.
