Position Description:
We are currently searching for an experienced Housekeeping Manager to join Hebridean/Island Sky cruise vessels.
The MS Hebridean Sky and MS Island Sky are sister vessels, the 118-passenger, all-suite vessels are one of the finest small ships in the world and benefits from unusually spacious accommodation, public areas and outside decks.
The Housekeeping Manager is the Head of the Housekeeping department
The Housekeeping Manager’s status is that of Officer
The Housekeeping Manager reports directly to the Hotel Director
Efficient day to day management of the housekeeping department, including, but not limited to, managing, monitoring, developing and training team members, ensuring an efficient and cost-effective service operation.
Ensuring adequate resourcing of teams, completing appraisals, identifying development opportunities and supporting senior staff to guide, motivate and direct their respective teams.
Managing the following ranks:
• Asst. Housekeeping Manager/Butler
• Laundry Manager
• Cabin Steward/ess
• Linenkeeper
• Laundryman
• Housekeeping Utility
With our current network of over 10,000 leisure specific crew, the largest independant crew network in the industry, we aim to support all crewing requirements in the cruise industry.
