Responsibilities

Responsible for assisting the Director of Housekeeping to direct and administer all Housekeeping operations to ensure the overall cleanliness and product quality of the hotel in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards. Support the Crowne Plaza standards. Responsible for the Housekeeping Department opening procedures. Hire, train, schedule, coach and counsel associates and follow the company disciplinary procedures. Schedule the guest room cleaning and follow up. Responsible for inspection of all areas to ensure cleanliness. Report needed repairs or unsafe condition of room to Engineering. Keep linen room locked; linen cart neat and organized to standards. Maintain security of equipment, keys, and supplies issued each day. Respond to housekeeping requests from guests or management in a timely, efficient manner. Able to cross function in the role of the Executive Housekeeper. Focus on the department meeting productivity standards and resolving operational problems. All other duties as required.

Qualifications

High school diploma / secondary education / equivalent is desired. Some college is preferred. Previous management and hotel housekeeping / laundry experience, preferably in a hotel of similar size, is required.
