The Housekeeping Rooms Team Leader is responsible for the standard of cleanliness in rooms and corridors, providing excellent service to guests.
\n\n
What will I be doing?
\nAs the Housekeeping Rooms Team Leader, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
\n• Responsible for the highest standard of cleaning on assigned floors and guestrooms during your shift.
\n• Work closely with the front desk team to ensure correct room status at all times.
\n• Ensure guest privacy is respected when DND status is displayed.
\n• Supervise the turndown service.
\n• Responsible for strict key control.
\n• Regularly inspect guest floor corridors and public areas.
\n• Report maintenance issues promptly to Engineering.
\n• Ensure compliance of lost and found procedures.
\n• Keep floors, linen rooms and pantries neat and tidy.
\n• Monitor productivity of the assigned Room Attendant.
\n• Check team members’ grooming, personal hygiene and appearance.
\n• Assist with team members’ training and development.
\n• Provide ongoing advice and support to team members under your supervision.
\n• Provide one to one instruction to team members when required.
\n• Seek opportunities to improve guest service consistently from guests’ comments.
\n• Take appropriate action to resolve guests’ complaints.
\n• Ensure all reports are completed on a timely basis.
\n• Adhere by the hotel’s policies and procedures, Hilton code of business conduct, the hotel’s team member handbook, security and emergency policies and procedures.
\n• Perform any duties assigned by the Management team deemed necessary.

\nA Housekeeping Rooms Team Leader serving Hilton Brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:
\n• University / Pre-university graduate.
\n• At least 2 years of guestroom work experience.
\n• Good written and verbal skills.
\n• Fluent in English to meet business needs, advantageous.
\n• Good knowledge of Housekeeping office daily operation.
\n• Proficient in Microsoft Office, housekeeping Opera and OnQ systems.
\n• Actively listen to others and build on good ideas.
