AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to fill the role of Housekeeping Supervisor, Full-time at The Surgical Hospital at Southwoods.

Responsible for coordinating Environmental Services activities for hospital setting and supervising shift staff Ensuring physical safety and sanitation; and maintaining and fostering positive and professional working relationships Implement and complete special cleaning projects Perform the duties of quality control, training and implementing program goals Accepts responsibility for a limited area, shift and/or task(s) as assigned Monitors assigned shift to ensure work is being completed properly and personnel are following Assists in the training and re-training of shift personnel as outlined by the EVS Motivates staff utilizing positive communication and fostering team work Maintains clean, neat and orderly areas in the account Inspects equipment daily to maintain it in a clean condition and good repair Reports any equipment/supply needs to the EVS Manager Performs quality control by utilizing inspection tools Ensures patient confidentiality; follows HIPAA guidelines

Job Requirements:

A minimum of two (2) years of Environmental Services experience Strong work ethic Effective verbal and written communication skills Demonstrate an understanding of EVS equipment and supplies Be able to lift 50 pounds
