Housekeeping Supervisor
Overview The Highlands is currently searching for a new Housekeeping Supervisor! This is a full-time, year-round opportunity that comes with a variety of benefits. As the Housekeeping Supervisor, you are working alongside your housekeeping team members to ensure clean, orderly, and attractive conditions of the resort. In addition, you will assist guests and other departments with all housekeeping-related functions as well as conduct daily inspections of the rooms and common areas. Inspect, maintain, and ensure all areas of the resort are clean including guest rooms, meeting rooms, corridors, elevators, restrooms, stairwells, and all other public spaces of the property. Complete walk-through of the hotel buildings, monitoring the physical condition and ensuring all standards are met. Inform team members of basic cleaning duties required and proper use of equipment and chemicals. Handle the proper documentation for subordinates that do not follow rules and guidelines. See the Executive Housekeeper before the corrective action. Maintain continuous training, education, and development for team members. Complete all required checklists and turn them into Executive Manager. Handle unusual requests and immediate guest concerns, and notify proper personnel.. Assist room attendants when necessary Check staffing schedule daily for changes and communicate to staff any changes that may affect them. Schedule may change daily/weekly due to increases/decreases in expected resort business flow. Follow the Highlands recycling program procedures. Qualifications Must have one year or more of related experience and/or education Must be over 18 Must possess a valid driver’s license *Single Bed, no pets.
