The Omni Richmond Hotel is currently an experienced individual to join its Housekeeping Department as a Housekeeping Supervisor. The role of the Housekeeping Supervisor is to ensure that the cleaning and servicing of guest-rooms, public areas, back of house and landings meet Omni's standards. Inspecting the cleaning and servicing of guest rooms and public areasAssigning special projects as directed by the Executive Housekeeper.Reporting any needed repairs or discrepancies of guest rooms.Ensuring that all Guest Room Attendants have appropriate supplies and linens; as well the linen carts are neat and well-organizedAssisting in the cleaning of guest rooms when necessary.Ensuring that linen closets on guest room floors are completely stocked, neat, and cleaned.Ensuring VIP rooms are inspected ASAP.Being knowledgeable about the hotel, facilities and events.Ensuring hotel, guest and associates are maintained in a safe and secure environment. Experience planning, scheduling, and supervising the work of a multi-shift housekeeping staffPrevious Housekeeping Supervisor experience in Hospitality prefered; Minimum of 2 years of Housekeeping experience required.Flexible availability including working weekends and holidaysKnowledge of safety practices in the use of cleaning chemicals and supplies.Ability to manage time effectively and demonstrate strong attention to detail.Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.Skilled in use of computers including e-mail, Microsoft Word & Excel.Ability to perform the physical demands of the position, such lifting, bending, walking for extended periods of time* Omni Hotels & Resorts requires all candidates to complete a background check; Employment may be contingent on results of background check as applicable and permissible by law. *
