Join the MercyOne Family! We are looking to hire an Evening Shift Supervisor of Housekeeping.
As a Housekeeping Supervisor at MercyOne, you will , manage, coordinate, and evaluate the care provided in the assigned area of responsibility. Support operations and services to facilitate maximum quality, cost efficiency and productivity. Is instrumental in promoting quality of life for patients, personnel and the community served.
Schedule:
Evening 2pm-10:30 pm, rotating weekends and holidays.
General Requirements:
Knows, understands, incorporates, and demonstrates the Trinity Health Mission, Vision, and Values in behaviors, practices, and decisions.
Schedules work rosters, assigns, and schedules work to be accomplished and checks quality and quantity of work to ensure that supplies and related equipment are available to effectively carry out the facility mission.
Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of Joint Commission, Federal, State and local law regulations and codes related to safety and sanitation of the environment including bio-hazardous and infectious waste management.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communications skills, presentation skills, advanced analytical skills, be well organized and maintain a highly professional manner and appearance.
Strong interpersonal, consultative and relationship building skills to initiate and develop productive collaborative partnership with all levels of leadership across the organization. Ability to effectively influence results, garner support and tactfully manage complex relationships within and across the organization. Extremely high level of diplomacy and tact are required. Ability to read the subtle nuances of situation and react/plan accordingly.
Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.
Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission, vision, goals, and values of Trinity Health.
Education:
Requires High school diploma.
