Housekeeping Supervisor - Caribe Hilton

The famous Caribe Hilton is looking for their next Housekeeping Supervisor.

The Caribe Hilton has welcomed guests since 1949 and has 17 acres of tropical landscaping, nine restaurants, island-inspired rooms, spa, and oceanfront pool complex, all right on the beach.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of experience as s Front Office or Housekeeping Supervisor, can speak, write, and communicate in both English and Spanish.

\n

Shift Pattern: Full Availability. Rotating shifts throughout the week and weekends.  Work on Holidays.

Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour

What will I be doing?

\n

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for assisting with overseeing housekeeping operations to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. A Housekeeping Supervisor will also be required to assist the Assistant Director of Housekeeping and monitor standards. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

\n\nAssist with overseeing Housekeeping operations\nOperate within departmental budgets through effective stock and cost controls and well managed schedules\nSupport departmental targets and objectives, work assignments, budgets, and policies and procedures\nMonitor the appearance, standards and performance of the Housekeeping Team with an emphasis on training and teamwork\nEnsure team members have an up-to-date knowledge of all room categories and amenities\nAssist the Director of Housekeeping to maintain good communication and work relationships in all hotel areas and with external customers and suppliers\nEnsure staffing levels cover business demands\nEnsure ongoing training to support Assistant Director of Housekeeping\nEnsure communication meetings are conducted and post-meeting minutes generated\nManage staff performance issues in compliance with company policies and procedures\nAssist other departments wherever necessary\n

\n\nHousekeeping experience in the hotel/leisure/retail sector in a managerial or supervisory capacity\nHigh level of commercial awareness and cost control capabilities\nExcellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills\nCommitted to delivering high levels of customer service\nAbility to work under pressure\nHigh level of IT proficiency\nExcellent grooming standards\nFlexibility to respond to a range of different work situations\n\n

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

\n\nFamiliar with Property Management Systems\nExperience managing a department and Profit and Loss account\n\n
